Ship Unloader Operator
Dangote Group, Sierra Leone

• Responsible for the safe operation amp; maintenance of ship unloader machine.
• Ensure extraction operation from vessel with proper placing of machine and spout connection.
• Ensure He will be on the ship keeping him in safe condition amp; using remote controller keeping the machine safety into consideration he will operate amp; extract the cement until predetermined quantity.
• Ensure to give report on the conditions of the operation and report any abnormal condition to Engineers amp; line manager
• Responsible to record the running parameters, stoppage amp; fuel inputs.
• Responsible to shift the machine from spout to spout when hatch changing.
• Ensure to clear all materials from pipeline before disconnecting and safe parking of machine.
• Responsible to do maintenance of the machine.
• Ensure to maintain the machine is always clean .
• Responsible for all tools amp; tackles, Radio, and its proper handing over

Requirements

• Minimum of Trade Test Certificate or other related discipline.
• Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience Cement industry knowledge may be an added advantage.
• Have a proactive approach to fault finding
• Must have the knowledge, discipline, and initiative to work alone
• Applies a team approach to engineering issues
• Practical attitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
