Key Duties amp; Responsibilities
- Review billing documents not released to accounting, check billings not passed to F1 in SAP, check dispatches yet to be billed.
- Assist in preparing month end financial statements.
- Provide supervisory roles to all Finance team members.
- Preparing of MPR.
- Preparation of Country finance report.
- Preparation of ExCo presentation report.
- Review SFP analysis (Vendor, Debtor age analysis amp; Related Party Transactions).
- Preparation of balance sheet notes.
- Review of accounts in general looking out for reasonableness of figures produced by the system (SAP) before month end close.
- Review of BRS and ensure all unposted transactions are posted and reconciled.
- Review Asset Register with the Asset Accountant. Identify fully depreciated Asset, Asset flagged for Impairment amp; Disposal and set disposal procedure in Motion.
- Assist in Preparing of Budget.
- Review amp; Reconciliation of all Foreign vendors' accounts.
- Monthly Review amp; Reconciliation of all Materials Consumptions - AGO, Packaging Materials, Spares amp; Bulk Cement.
- Back-up for Daily clearing amp; review of customers' accounts.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Finance Officer.
Requirements
Academic/Professional Qualifications
- B.Sc./HND (Finance/Accounts) + 9 Years’ experience OR A qualified Accountant with not less than 3 years post qualification experience
- ACCA + 3 Years’ experience or Partly Qualified ACCA + 6 years’ experience
Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience Cement industry knowledge may be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Prospective employee must have a high sense of commitment, hard-working and willing to work extra hours to meet set timelines.
- A hands-on experience on an ERP is a MUST and on SAP is an advantage.
- Has capacity to work under pressure and without supervision.
- Must have good working knowledge of Sierra Leone Tax Laws
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills.
- Ability to deal with individuals in a multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
