My Organisation NetARHD is currently pursuing efforts toward human development for excombatant youths in Sierra Leone. Since 2019, I have been offering voluntary services on behalf of NetARHD to the Global Advocates for Children in Armed Conflicts (GACAC) through zoom meetings and written accounts about reintegration of disarmed, demonbilised and reintegratied ex-combatants in collaboation with a UN outfit called GACAC. I participated in a 3-day event in the UK, in February 2023 to dialogue on the reintegration of children associated with armed forces or armed groups with international representatives from diverse walks of life to discuss how actors can better cooperate to address existing gaps and needs to achieve the successful reintegration of Children Associated with Armed Forces or Armed Groups (CAAFAG). I also participated in a follow-up planning Conference in Nairobi, Kenya as an independent expert in March 2023 to plan with other focal points from Uganda, Nigeria, Liberia, South Sudan, Somalia, Chad, Mali, Sri Lanka, Columbia, and Central African Republic. It was after this Nairobi Conference that NetARHD was born as a local NGO in Sierra Leone. It is fully tregsterd with the line ministries ofthe Government of Sierra Leone and two operational pilot Districts in Sierra Leone.
